How It's Made

Hardwood
We begin with select hardwood, cut and stacked to season.

Kiln Burn
Wood is slowly carbonized in traditional charcoal kilns.

Carbonize & Cool
Days of controlled carbonization yield dense, high-carbon charcoal, then left to cool.

Pack & Ship
Sorted, bagged in export-ready packaging, and loaded by the full container for delivery abroad.
Questions & Answers
Do you export internationally?
Yes — export is the heart of our business. We ship palletized orders and full containers across the Balkans and the EU — Serbia, Albania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Germany — and worldwide wherever the current circumstances allow. Whatever your market, ask us any time — chances are we already deliver nearby.
Which products do you offer?
Premium hardwood lump charcoal, restaurant-grade Marabu charcoal, Acacia charcoal, Ayin charcoal, mangrove charcoal and pressed hardwood briquettes — all high-caloric, with a long and even burn. The list isn't exhaustive: our range follows global supply and demand, so ask us what's currently available.
What is the minimum order for wholesale charcoal?
A single bag at our Skopje office. For delivery, orders usually start from one pallet, and export ships by the pallet, the full truck or the 20 ft or 40 ft container. There is no fixed minimum in tonnes.
How much charcoal fits in a 20 ft or 40 ft container?
Indicatively, a 20 ft container takes about 10 to 11 Euro pallets, a 40 ft high-cube about 22 to 24 and a 13.6 m truck about 33. The exact net load depends on bag size and pallet height and is confirmed in your quotation.
What bag sizes and packaging do you supply?
Retail bags of 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 kg, labelled in multiple languages and ready for the shelf. Wholesale orders ship by the pallet or the full container. We're also open to custom orders — sizes, packaging and labelling per client request.
Can you pack charcoal under our own brand?
Yes. Your brand can be printed on our bags, arranged by contract for each order. Custom sizes and labels may involve additional charges and lead time, and may not be available for every charcoal type.
Do you offer FSC-certified and EUDR-compliant charcoal?
We offer selected FSC-certified, EUDR-compliant charcoal grades. Contact us for availability and the documentation for your order.
What is your charcoal suitable for?
Everything — from a backyard barbecue to restaurants and industrial use. It comes down to the type of charcoal and your needs. Restaurant-grade Marabu, for example, holds up to 850°C for up to seven hours, with low smoke and sparking once fully lit, while Acacia is a favorite for grilling at home. Tell us your use case and we'll recommend the right product.
Where are you located — and can we visit before ordering?
You'll find us at Ulica 1409 no. 9A in Skopje, North Macedonia — the location is on Google Maps (and in the Location section below). Everyone is welcome to visit, see the charcoal in person and talk with us directly.
How do I get a price offer?
Call or message us on WhatsApp at +389 70 225 112, or email virovo-promet@hotmail.com — tell us the product, quantity and destination, and we'll prepare an offer. We're available Monday to Saturday, 08:00–16:00.
